This pub has a modern part and an olde bit. Its a bit different and I kind of like it. There was Glaslyn Ale, a Marstons badge house beer and a strong cider called Black Lion. Certainly enough to be getting on with!
Food was pretty decent too. I could order it in English too, fortunately. -

Wi'n dwli ar y lle yma. Yep, that's Welsh, but seeing as that's what the bar is, then it's probably best if you speak Welsh if you go there! The atmosphere is friendly and staff are a good source of info on what events are going on locally. The music is great, and there's a lovely mixture of locals and students, which makes it feel really special. Good roast dinners too!

Nice pub, but probably best if you speak Welsh (I dont!) Good value and on one of the main pub crawl routes through the town.
